Advantage Physical Therapy is located in Lockport, NY. Established in 2002, we serve Niagara and Erie County. We are the only PT clinic in the Eastern Niagara Region with Aquatic Therapy!
Our mission is to provide quality outpatient physical therapy services to patients suffering from orthopedic injuries and other related illnesses. Advantage Physical Therapy will strive to return patients as close to their pre-injury/illness function levels as possible. This will be accomplished by our knowledgeable staff, state of the art equipment and a comfortable, friendly atmosphere.
Our focus is to provide quality care individualized to each patients specific needs by allowing them to feel comfortable while they are under our care. Our objective is to offer the community indiviualized, personal and professional physical therapy care while striving for excellence in rehabilitation, as well as health and wellness.

Question: When you injure yourself should you use ice or heat?
Answer: Ice is the treatment of choice for acute injuries, injuries which occur within 24 to 48 hours. Ice however, should only be applied for 10-15 minutes at a time and off for one hour before being reapplied.
Question: What causes arthritis?
Answer: Determining the cause of arthritis can be difficult. Some causes may be genetics, age, weight, previous injury, and illness or infection. No one knows what causes arthritis, though scientists have uncovered a host of clues. Something can be done to manage most forms of arthritis, but it's very important that a correct diagnosis is established early. Most therapies work best when started early in the disease process. The body was made to move so exercise may be helpful in treating arthritis.

2nd ANNUAL "SPRING INTO SUMMER" 5K RUN/2 MILE WALK was held on June 25th. There were over 150 participants- Thanks for all who supported this event, as we were able to donate $4,600 to the Dream and Believe Foundation!
