Meet Our Team of Highly Trained Clinicians

Andrew Perilli, Doctor of Physical Therapy and Owner

Owner since April 2021. He is originally from Lockport, but currently lives in Kenmore. He graduated from Brown University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Daemen College in 2017 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

He was a former cross country and track student-athlete at Lockport High School and Brown University.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife, Marissa and his dog Jax. He also enjoys exercising, watching the Bills, and playing golf.

Alana Szewczyk, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Alana Szewczyk grew up in South Wales, NY where she graduated from Holland High School in 2016. Alana pursued her athletic passion at SUNY Cortland where she was a 4-year member of the Women’s Swimming & Diving Team. Alana received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Cortland in 2020 and went on to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University at Buffalo where she graduated in May 2023.

Throughout years of shadowing other PTs and seeing injuries first-hand as a collegiate athlete, Alana fell in love with the career. She enjoys exercise and helping others stay healthy. Alana has since moved to Cheektowaga, NY with her fiancé and began working at Advantage Physical Therapy in June 2023.

Outside of work, Alana’s interests include weightlifting at the gym, getting outdoors to read a good book, spending time with her friends, family, soon-to-be husband, and snuggling with her rescue cat, Rizzo. She’s also a foodie and will never turn down an opportunity to explore new foods. Alana continues to be a die-hard Buffalo Bills, Sabres, and Bandits fan.

Meaghan McKeever, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Meaghan Joined the staff in August 2021. She is originally from Poughkeepsie, NY but moved here for college and fell in love with Buffalo. She graduated from the University at Buffalo in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and then earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2020.

She was a former member of her high school and collegiate rowing teams which ultimately sparked her desire to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Outside of work, Meaghan enjoys spending time with her family, friends and two cats. She also enjoys running, boating and traveling.

Emily Arnone, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Emily Arnone grew up in Cheektowaga, New York where she graduated from Depew High School in 2014. Throughout high school, Emily pursued her passion for sports, especially competitive cheerleading, soccer, and track and field which led her to multiple bouts of physical therapy following repetitive ankle injuries. These multiple injuries ignited a passion for the profession she spent so much time with throughout high school.

Emily went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Daemen College in 2020 while continuing her cheerleading career. Emily moved to Clarence, NY and began working at Advantage Physical Therapy in May 2021.

Outside of work, Emily’s interests include hiking, snowboarding, curling up with a good book, and spending time with her friends, family, and husband. She also enjoys exploring the great city of Buffalo with her English bulldogs Dozer and Bear. Emily’s love of sports continues with her dedicated support of the Buffalo Bills, Sabres, and Bandits.

Justin Budniewski, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Justin joined the Advantage PT staff in February 2023. He is originally from Derby, NY but currently lives in Williamsville. He graduated from the University at Buffalo 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and then received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2020.

He is a former member of his high school baseball and hockey teams in addition to intramural hockey teams throughout college.

Outside of work, Justin enjoys spending time with his friends, family and his 2 dogs, Spazzy and Lilly. On top of that he likes working out, playing hockey, golfing, and cooking. Justin also is a diehard Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan.

Emily Diermyer, Medical Receptionist and Physical Therapy Aide

Emily joined Advantage Physical Therapy in 2011.

She graduated from Daemen College in 2015. Emily is married and has one child. She loves her animals (dogs, cats, goats, and chickens).

Emily enjoys spending time with her family, having bonfires, and drinking wine.

Amy Goodrich, Physical Therapist Assistant

Amy is originally from Portland, OR and found her way to Buffalo after traveling, teaching high school English, working in restaurants, and playing roller derby across the country. Having completed her credentials through NCCC, Amy brings these experiences to her approach as a PTA at Advantage since October, 2023.

Amy loves camping, travel, live music, kayaking, and sharing good food with friends. She can be found outside of work spending time with her husband Ken, bernedoodle Charlie and chickens Peaches, Holly and Heather
